I just. This album is incredible. The lyrics are the most clever and well written in the history of her music. She experiments with such interesting instruments and the styles here are so different from anything she’s ever done but it all flows and fits so well. I can’t believe that she is 7 albums into her career and still evolving like this and doing this so well. She’s yet to trip over her own feet trying to do something new. The execution of everything is so perfect. She covers some incredibly personal topics and ones she’s never done before here and isn’t afraid to put these vulnerable stories and feelings out there. This has been my favorite listening experience. The way she ends this album is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. “You are what you love”. Taylor Swift is a Lover. She is a lover of music, the people in her life, her fans, and a lover of life itself. This album encapsulates so many concepts and lessons she’s learned over the years, not just the last 2 and I just, can’t express how amazing this record it. Lover is amazing.
