“And now we just need to find out how we get back to my universe.”

“I don’t I could help you, it’s tricky business all of this universe stuff!” Theta walked around the couch 

"Then how-How am I supposed to get back?"

Theta smiles “There’s alternative universes for everything, I’m guessing we’re married in one, and friends in the other” 

"And now we just need to find out how we get back to my universe."

“Yeah, no matter where you are there’s always an alternative universe where you could be doing a completely different activity” Theta smiled “I’m glad you remembered that, not everyone gets that” 

"Heavens, T. We're married. You should know that I'm not like everyone else." Lucy joked,tilting her head to the side. "I think that when I hit my head...Maybe I got transported to this alternative universe. One where we are married and there is no kids or River...Is this even possible?"

“What? Have you remembered” Theta’s 100 watt smile came back 

"Nope. Sorry." Lucy shook her head, but smiled. "But I think I found out what happened. Remember that time when we had tea and you explained some thing about the universe to me? Like how there are millions of them and things can be different? I may be wrong, but it could be it."

“You know… I don’t really know” Theta pondered “Is it that bad being married to me that you forgot” She pouted 

"How would I know? I don't remember." Lucy muttered, crossing her arms. "It's like I got stuck in this alternative universe where we're married and the kids don't exist... waaaaaaaaaait."

“Lucy I don’t get what else I can say.. We’re married, that’s how it is” Theta picked up a book and skimmed through to her page. 

"Then why can't I remember any of that? Why I only have memories of a life that apparently isn't mine?" The blonde asked, frustrated.

“Do you just carry those things around?” Lucy joked, before taking a good look at the certificate. “Holy crap, we really are married.” She commented, raising an eyebrow. “But… it can’t be… I don’t understand. You are…River… Charlie… The Kids…I just got back from Canada and… Oh sweet lord of the rings, I need to sit down.”

Theta raised an eyebrow “Want me to leave you for a bit? I can go to my room and leave you to think on your own in the library if you’d like” 

"No, please, don't." Lucy asked, looking up at her friend. "My head hurts really badly right now, but if you could explain some things...that would be lovely."
