“No one is going to be good enough for you Luc.” he shrugged. “Guess you gotta stay single for a long time.”

Lucy glared. “You guys suck.” she turned and walked upstairs.

Conner stared after her with a frown. “I will find him, Lucy!”

"not until after I go on a date with him." slammed her door shut

“well one of us are.” he said jokingly. “Luc, why are you acting so bratty?” he raised his brow. 

Lucy groaned. “Oh great now you two are going to be tag teaming me, This isn’t fair.” she exclaimed.

Conner messed up her hair playfully. “C’mon we’re just being brothers.” He grinned.

“wait, what’s going on.. I just heard her calling us idiots why are we idiots?” he asked confused

“Conner thinks it’ll be a great idea to scare off the first guy to ever ask me out.” she replied.

“Not scare off, just see if he’s good enough.” Conner grumped.

“Not gonna happen, Lucy.” Conner said, sticking out his tongue at her.

"It can and It will if you keep bugging me to meet him, I want to have a normal first date not one where I have to worry about my two idiot brothers and my dad scaring the first guy that's actually showed interest in me off." She replied quickly.

  “Mmmhm. He’s really nice and he asked me out to dinner but I wanted to make sure it was okay with you first.. ” she said softly.

“I wanna meet this guy first.” Conner quickly replied. “And I bet Trevor would too.”

“You guys are going to scare him off.” She said crossing her arms. “You can meet him after.”

Conner smirked. “Well if he isn’t a pussy and doesn’t scare off easily, then he’s good enough for our baby sister.” He said.

Lucy glared. “I’m not a baby. You can meet him after.” she repeated herself. 

“Hmm…how about no?” He suggested. “What if I tie you up and lock you in your room, and then I go off to where you’re meeting him so I can say if I approve or not?” He said, grinning cheekily.

“I’ll tell daddy.” she grinned. “I’m going to remember this Conner. You’re going to regret it.” She promised. 

Conner rolled his eyes. “Gonna use the daddy card, huh?” He snorted. “I’m sure he’d want to meet him too.” He grinned.

"Then i'll just go out with him when I want to, and I won't tell You, daddy or Trevor." She nodded.

Conner looked to his sister in interest. “Oh?” He started. “Is it about a boy?” He teased.

“well.. Yeah actually it is..” she admitted softly.

Conner’s eye grew wide in surprise, at the same time his nostrils flared. “Who is he? What’s his name? Where did you meet him? Is he from school? Do I know him? How old is he? If he isn’t from school then where did you meet him? Is he one of my friends?” He trailed off asking questions in succession.

“Chris.. At a Cafe, No, No, I’m not sure, No.. He’s from Oklahoma.” she said quickly as he shot out the questions she sighed with a long breath after. “anymore questions?”

Conner pursed his lips, mulling over her answers. “Not yet.” He finally said. “He’s from Oklahoma, huh?” He said with an arched eyebrow.

“Oh great.. now the house will be filled with hormonal teenage girls..” she rolled her eyes. “Hey! jerk..” she pouted and took the other piece and loaded on the nutella and licked it. “You’re putting everything away then.”  

He snickered. “Not on your life, sis.” He said before pulling her in and tucking her under his armpit and giving her a noogie. “Love you, thanks for the toast.” Before planting a sloppy kiss on her forehead.

Lucy squeaked. “You’re all sweaty!” Lucy shook her head and walked off leaving the mess there knowing he’d clean it up anyways. “Love you too, now i’m going to shower get all this conner sweat off of me!” 

Conner laughed. “You are such a girl!” He yelled after her. Shaking his head in amusement he started to clean the mess up.
