     ❛     of course i want SOMETHING .     ❜     when does he NOT ? it’s always , ‘ GIVE ME THIS ‘ or , ‘ GIVE ME THAT ‘ with no regard for anyone else’s feelings [ it is not his fault he lacks EMPATHY . ]  &  it is no different now ——— even if what he wants is not something PHYSICALLY OBTAINABLE / not something you can hold in the palm of your hand much like everything else he’s ever wanted . ( he is no stranger to physical affection but it is oddly uncomfortable asking someone else for it instead of initiating it without keeping their own comfort in mind . )     ❛     get under the blanket with me ,     ❜     it’s long enough , CERTAINLY .     ❛     i wanna cuddle . it’s COLD .     ❜

“     huh ?     ”     he  blinks  once,  then  twice,  &  that’s  when  his  face  turns  pink.     it’s  not  even  the  idea  of  affection  that  catches  him  off  guard,  it’s  ramuda  asking.     (     or,  well,  telling.     either  way,  it’s  unlike  him;  dice  is  shocked  that  he  didn’t  just  tackle  him  with  the  blanket  or  something.     )     “     i  mean,  okay  i  guess,  since  you’ll  probably  whine  if  i  don’t.     ”     he  gets  under  the  blanket,  scooting  closer  to  ramuda  &  putting  an  arm  around  him.     he  turns  his  face  to  the  side,  hoping  it’ll  make  it  less  likely  for  ramuda  to  point  out  how  embarrassed  he  looks,  though  he’s  sure  that  just  makes  it  even  more  obvious.     ugh.     “     is  this  fine  ?     ”

     ❛     c’mere .     ❜     he’s laying on his SIDE ‘pon the cold , hard GROUND ——— wrapped in a blanket long enough to ENGULF the entirety of his body three , if not FOUR times . he pats at the space ‘side him with a small hand , one riddled with BANDAIDS amongst BANDAIDS . ( it is not his fault his / THEIR he supposes / pet raccoon has a tendency to startle him when he’s sewing . ) he watches the other with the same curiosity of a newborn baby DEER , eyes big  &  wide like saucer plates , [ the DEFAULT . ] expecting ; ever so EXPECTING.     ❛     the least you can do in return for me letting you live here is to come over here .     ❜  ( @luckiests . )

“     i’m comin' ---  don’t  be  so  whiny.     ”     it’s  clear  that  his  annoyance  isn’t  genuine,  the  usual  harshness  missing  from  his  tone.     rather  than  lying  down,  he  sits  beside  him,  legs  crossed.     “     you  already  know  i’m  grateful  for  that,  c’mon.     though  you  are  kinda  the  reason  why  i  ended  up  homeless...     ”     he’s  over  it,  though;  he’s  come  to  be  fond  of  ramuda,  &  happy  to  live  with  him.     (     ...not  that  he’ll  easily  admit  that.     )     “     ...did  y’want  something  or  just  company  ?     ”
