Thanks to many thoughts, I ended up drawing again about that one concept idea of mine with baby Max and tired Goofy. Which it's about how difficult it was for Goofy at the beginning for a couple of reasons, and that Goofy only managed to occasionally take better care of himself with the help of his friends. Sure he's positive and optimistic in general, but I can't see he managing it all by himself alone.

in this AU he's a show host, as of now he hosts a talkshow where he interviews and talks to others as guests and another show where he gets people to fight to the death and commentates on the action live.

uhh sure!! for now all i will say is they're all in a Sonic The Fighters arcade cabinet infected by DEMO where the game was redesigned, removing any cartoon physics in exchange for blood and gore, essentially turning it into Mortal Kombat. DEMO relishes in the sight of watching his own victims fight each other to the death in tournaments to determine who lives for another day. Sonic(?) is the one who's been there the longest and she has won many of those tournaments, earning her reward of being DEMO's favorite champion.
what happens if one of them loses? Do they get erased?
pretty much, their souls are put to rest however any data from fights they were in would affect how the mirror/gray variant of the vessel they were in would act, basically making an ai clone of them but only for battling
so would it be a better bet for the souls to just lose the battle? So they don’t have to suffer?
logically, yes. but unfortunately these poor souls would of course hold onto the possibility of escaping by winning
