Honestly really proud of myself because I drew this without references. Especially proud of the hands and shoes. Drawing this was like tracing but straight from my imagination. Wish it was always like this 🥲

*Venti finds Xiao resting under a tree*

Xiao: ... Bar..batos?

Venti: Sorry, did I wake you?

Xiao: No. I'm fine.

*Venti grabs Xiao's arm and stops him from getting up.*

Venti: Rest. Let go of your spear.

Xiao: The Abyss can attack at anytime. I have to be ready.

Venti: At least close your eyes. The wind will tell me if something's wrong.

Xiao: Thank you, but I have to g...

Venti: I'll sing for you

Xiao: ...

...fades until next year...

Venti sings Xiao a lullaby to help him relax (and eventually make him fall asleep despite Xiao's best effort to stay alert and vigilant).

When Xiao does fall asleep, he never lets go of his spear, much to Venti's disquiet.
