Class of the Titans: The feared titan of time Cronus escapes from Tartarus’ prison after thousands of years of imprisonment when the planets aligned on New Year’s Eve. Now an ancient prophecy predicts that 7 teen heroes (Jay, Atlanta, Herry, Archie, Theresa, Odie and Neil) will be the ones to defeat Cronus once and for all.

this show is way better than percy jackson series when it comes to introducing greek myth and what not (and it has a GREAT portrayal of persephone and hades)

there are 7 descendants of 7 Greek heroes: (okay 6, because Narcissus is not a hero). There’s:

Jay, the descendant of Jason.  He’s the leader. Always serious.

Archie (ANGSTY LIL SHIT), the descendant of Achilles. He has a wonky ankle and an irrational fear of water (tribute to Achilles, I believe).

Atlanta, the descendant of Atalanta (not Artemis). She’s the best hunter. Hotheaded. Also really fast. Also people ship her with Archie because wow these two. (She’s like the lovechild of wally west and artemis crock, i s2g).

Odie, the descendant of Odysseus. Nerd. NERD. BIG NERD. also this nerd manages to attract so many ladies during the show’s run.

Theresa, the descendant of Theseus. Psychic, pretty, and not a mean girl. She’s pretty good with nunchucks and does not have a mean girl/rich girl attitude. she has a lot of better skills/powers than the other 6 i s2g.

Henry, the descendant of Hercules. He’s the muscles. He loves his truck and grandma.

and Neil, the descendant of Narcissus (lmfao). He’s a model. He’s lucky (i mean it. he’s always lucky). He’s literally the comic relief. 

These 7 teenagers were prophesied to pretty much stop Chronus, who’s the big bad guy of the series. He doesn’t want them to defeat him so he does everything in his path to stop them from doing so. (Although he does a shitty job at times, lol). There’s a lot of shenanigans that happens because Chronus does not want them to defeat him.

Zeus and Hera are a lot more toned down here, but there are times where Hera’s portrayed as ruthless as she is in the myth.

There’s also a lot of references to a lot of the lesser popular myths and characters, such as the focus on Echo and Narcissus on one episode (lmfao, poor Neil).

There’s also Hermes (and Hermes son appears in one episode!) The greek Gods (Hermes, Artemis, Hercules, etc are the teachers who train the 7 kids). 

it’s a really good and education show on greek myth. it does a better job than Percy Jackson. I’ve introduced a couple of people to the show.
