lately, i feel so much color is coming back into my life. into my self expression.

but once the night hits and i’m back at home, i continue to under saturate, enjoy the grey scale of it all.

i feel so deeply, i always have

i miss when i was able create something with it

focused for hours on the artwork and if it executes my mind perfectly

submerged into what makes me able to identify what makes me human

what makes me real

i’ve comes to terms with i’ll never see the same version of myself twice, even if some old ones were good

long seasons have passed, filled with my searches for her

i’ve changed my sheets, listened to old records, bought the same candles

she used be prideful of the sanctuary she’d created with those elements

and i have yet to create anything remotely close to it

i’ve learned that its okay i haven’t

that i can display easter eggs around the new home,

buy the purple and blue orbs for nightfalls

and consume the herbs for the small reminiscence of old sacred sensations

solitude is working towards activating my peace

and so forceful solo sessions are had and
