To do research, simply go to Google Scholar (a search engine) that specialise in reliable, sourced content (you'll find lots of theses, Books, articles wrote by historians and archeologists.)
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. Search across a wide variety of disciplines and sources: ar
You'll type keywords like "Athena cults", "Aphrodite epithets", "Apollo festivals", "Zeus rituals", "ancient greek religion", "ancient greek rituals", "Attic calendar" (just some ideas, you can literally search anything you want and need) And then you'll get many (like... MANY) free academic/archeological and historical PDF, theses, sources and articles about the topic you wanted to know more about.
Here is an exemple where i used Google Scholar and did research about Demeter
Google Scholar is the best cause you can actually find everything and sometimes it'll send you to theses others websides:
Persée is a french webside but you can still find English content on it

(note that not everything on Google Books is reliable, so it's important to check who the author is and whether they're an historian/academic or not).
(and I could've kept scrolling for minutes... Even hours... There's thousands and thousands of articles and pdf about Demeter and all the other gods and about the religion.)
