Giant shoutout to selfshippers who refuse to celebrate the 4th of July.

If you can't stand fireworks, your F/O(s) would accomodate you and comfort you throughout the night.

If you don't like going to family gatherings, your F/O(s) would never force you to go to any and instead you can stay in each other's company for the day.

If you just can't stand the patriotism, your F/O(s) ABSOLUTELY agree with you and they'll listen to you about it.

And if you're not from the United States, double shoutout to you especially.

imagine your f/o laying down on you like a weighted blanket when it's hot. the two of you are exhausted. the one fan in this shared room is doing the bare minimum of keeping you cool, and your f/o is deciding that "sharing body heat" was totally appropriate right now.

you groaned at the heat, pushing at their shoulders, to which they responded by cuddling into your neck. great, now your face was heating up. "get uuupppp."

"but, i like you," was a horrible comeback. but you sighed, and wrapped your arms around them. it was so gross, both of you were sweating through your shirts and on each other. but, they were wrapped around you like you were a cube of ice.

"if we die from heat exhaustion," you started, "i'm blaming you."

"hm, but what a way to go."
