I set about thinking of ways I could make him look a bit more handsome and appealing to purchased him a miniature crown off eBay and now I don't think he's ever looked better!!

I have also started to work in imagery of the tools used in taxidermy to be slightly abstract and break up the sections, as well as giving the reader an idea of the actual process that goes into creating a piece of taxidermy and the interesting and usual materials and instruments that are required.

Images from my visit to The Jugged Hare, a treehouse pub in Barbican which sports a lot of taxidermy and mounted animal heads including serval dozen hares and two stag heads to socialise and have a drink with!

Creating taxidermy paper pop outs from my images, I want to add an element of surprise and craft and I feel using pop out pages could be a really effective way of doing this if done well!

These will be at the stand at Pick Me Up between the 21st April - 2nd May!

Working with the print studio Peso Press in preparation for their letterpress stand at Pick Me Up at Somerset house I experimented with some typefaces, adding patterns to them to alter them slightly to work with the theme of this years festival “Utopia” I wanted to play around with aztec triangles, arrows and symbols and see what effect this had to on the type and letter forms. 

The idea behind The Park is to put the whole aspirational lifestyle that the campaign creates into practice and make it a reality for the customer, it gives them a chance to really interact with the brand beyond simply buying the clothes and going home. It also gives them the chance to become part of a community, so even when the clothes sell out, the brand spirit and ethos won't!

Designing email newsletters for the watch brand Olivia Burton focussing on an individual look for their Chromo watch face. I tried to keep it young and fresh and spring like with a reflected floral border and a simple layout style to celebrate their beauty in their product.
