The second time this month, our car has stalled. This time it stalled on me, front and center at a traffic light waiting to turn. The Vantage Point of a Christian. Christ-focused Black Woman: Fight for love by first knowing and acknowledging how much God loves ALL of his children. All means all!! Black lives matter to God!! A point or feature which makes something better or gives an ”ADVANTAGE.” To makes something better or gives an advantage. Essential: absolutely necessary; indispensable: The vantage point we have as Christians is Jesus!!! The war on racism is the most significant battle that we are fighting as Christians. We are still living in a country where black lives are not deemed essential. Embrace diversity. I dismiss the notion when people say, "I don't see color." We should see and celebrate all the colors of the human spectrum. We have pride in our cultural roots. I fully support honoring all backgrounds. This doesn't take away from my stance of #BlackLivesMatter. I'm firmly rooted on this position. Nevertheless, God is love and these feelings should cover all colors. We must have mutual respect for everyone's heritage. My black pride should never be viewed as a stance of hate. To better understand my plight, take the time to learn of my past. History class in schools habitually overlook the contributions of black people in America. Parents, go beyond what's taught in school and teach the children of our rich legacy. It's deeper than slavery, Martin Luther King or President Obama. Add a layer to it and share info with kids of other people's culture too.
