I don’t think it’s possible for me to comb through ALL available Twst content and compile ALL the things Jamil isn’t truthful about 😅 (Though let’s be honest, everyone in Twst is an unreliable narrator; Yana has stated that the vignettes are meant to be from the perspective of the characters and so there may be discrepancies with how others are viewed or presented.)

I do think that Jamil likes cooking, just mostly when it’s not associated with work. (He seriously sounds so tired whenever Kalim tells him to make a feast for random guests he brought over.) It’s a skill, his talent. It is something he is able to be openly good at and receive praise for (while he has to actively hold back in everything else so as to not outshine Kalim). It’s one of the few freedoms Jamil even has, given his social status/station in life, because there’s no harm in the servant experimenting with new spice blends for curry.

sept: celebrate birthday normally

oct-nov: hypnotize kalim and make him unlikeable to the entire dorm and make everyone think i'm better

dec: use the prefect to finalize my plan of destroying kalim's reign

jan: happy new year. new me. new dorm leader

i cannot believe that Jamil and Sebek were neck-and-neck for 24 hours straight with ten other candidates in that goofy af poll— and it still ended in a DRAW. 😭(This is how I pictured it) So, NOBODY GETS ANYTHING.

Shoutout to the runner ups, Leona who coasted through in 2nd the entire time, and Ace who struggled a lot initially and after many hurdles, managed to clock in 3rd at the last second.
