Mei- she’s such a quiet little thing! She doesn’t often get loud at all and is very shy but when she’s comfortable around you she’ll talk your ear off!

-She is very creative and loves to read,draw and knit! Often times she’ll try to make things she thinks her girlfriends will like but gets so embarrassed if she thinks they aren’t good enough

-she’s very reserved and likes to be alone to recharge, especially after the long calls with her girlfriends. She loves them a lot, but sometimes needs space and they all understand that. 

-she also cries a lot! Almost as much as Penny because she’s sensitive

Willow- she’s got such a Mom personality making sure that the other girls have exactly what they need checking on them, making sure they hydrate or eat when needed

-she’s a empathetic listener and often is very wise beyond her years knowing exactly what to say, and just how to say it so they all come to her for advice or if any of them are fighting, need to vent ect.

-she’s very affectionate often times being the one who wants the most kisses,cuddles and hugs from her girlfriends when they get to on occasion, meet up! (she also tries of give them pet names that never stick lol)

Luna- she wild and free! Sometimes you can’t tell if she’s coming or going even if you think you know what she’s going to say or do next you don’t

-she’s very protective of all of her girlfriends she would definitely be the first one to fight Anyone who would dare say or do anything negative to them

- she’s very loud, energetic and has a very outgoing personality! She’s also pretty strong and loves to give bear hugs!

This is all I could think of so far :)

I love it when they are in school it’s just so fun! So many possibilities!

Hallways buzzed with chatter as students poured out of class. The seven friends claimed their usual spot by the lockers, all looking like they'd just survived a battle instead of a history test.

Vinnie flopped dramatically against his locker.

"I failed."

Pepper rolled her eyes. "The teacher hasn't even graded them yet."

"I know, but I can feel it. Question four? Didn't know it. Question nine? Guessed. The essay? I started talking about the wrong war!"

Sunil adjusted his scarf nervously.

"I... think I did alright. Maybe. Unless I misunderstood half the questions. Which is entirely possible." He sighed. "Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, perhaps I did terribly."

Penny smiled confidently.

"I'm sure everyone did better than they think."

She folded her test review sheet a little tighter behind her back.

Please let that confidence not come back to haunt me...

Minka bounced from one foot to the other.

"I couldn't stop fidgeting! My leg kept shaking the whole time. But..." she grinned sheepishly, "...I'm pretty sure I filled in almost every answer, so that's gotta count for something, right?"

Pepper shrugged.

"I wasn't worried. I cheated off Russell a little."

The whole group froze.

From the locker behind them, Russell slowly looked up from organizing his books.

"...You WHAT?"

Pepper blinked.

"What? Just a couple answers."

Russell looked genuinely offended.

"Pepper! I studied for days! You could've asked me for help before the test!"

"I figured it'd save time."

"It does not save time if you're copying the wrong answer!"

"You got them wrong?"

"I don't know!" Russell threw his paws into the air. "Now I'm worried because you copied me!"

Vinnie gasped dramatically.

"So you're saying we're both doomed?"

"I am not saying that!"

Before anyone else could speak, Zoe laughed. She was sitting nearby, texting.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Without looking up, she said, "As always, I did fabulous."

Everyone turned toward her.

"You actually finished the test?" Sunil asked.

"Mhm." She sent one last text before glancing up. "And I have the essay, also."

"You finished the essay?" Penny asked.

"Yep." Zoe shrugged. "Pretty sure I passed."

Russell blinked.

"So..You were paying attention this whole time?"

"I can text and listen."

Her phone buzzed.

She smiled.

"Oh, my sister says if I fail, I can blame the educational system."

Pepper nodded approvingly.

"I like your sister."

The final bell then rang through the hallway.

Students immediately began streaming toward the exits, lockers slamming shut as conversations filled the halls.

Vinnie stretched.

"Well... that's the last class of the day. Who's doing what after school?"

"I'm going to the mall," Zoe said. "I need new headphones."

Penny smiled.

"I'll tag along. I wanted to stop by the bookstore anyway."

"Perfect."

Minka nudged Pepper with a mischievous grin.

"Wanna go explore that abandoned trail behind the park?"

Pepper's ears perked up.

"The one we're definitely not supposed to be on?"

"The very one."

"I'm in."

Russell frowned.

"...That sounds incredibly unsafe."

"It'll be fine," Pepper said with a wave of her paw.

"I strongly disagree."

Vinnie slung an arm around Sunil's shoulders.

"What about you? Come over to my house. We've still gotta beat that co-op game."

Sunil smiled.

"I'd like that."

Russell adjusted the books in his arms.

"I really should spend the evening studying."

Vinnie groaned.

"Russell, the test is over."

"I know, but there are always future tests."

Sunil thought for a moment.

"Well... your house is only a few minutes from Vinnie's, isn't it?"

Russell blinked.

"...It is."

"You could study for a little while," Sunil suggested, "then come over for an hour."

Vinnie pointed excitedly at Sunil.

"Exactly! See? Sunil gets it."

Russell hesitated before letting out a small sigh.

"...One hour."

Vinnie threw both fists into the air.

"YES!"

Russell quickly added, "Assuming my homework is finished."

"I'll take it!"

The seven friends then walked out of the school together into the warm afternoon sun before naturally splitting off toward their different plans.

Mainly because I really want to see King George interact with the pets (especially with Russell, Penny Ling, and Zoe)

Me too anon!

They definitely would try!

But I have a feeling, they would probably end up fighting over him A LOT which he may or may not like?

It would be so cute!!

Penny arrived first.

She sat beside a picnic table, nervously smoothing the fur on her paws.

What if it's awkward?

What if they don't like me as much in person?

Her ears drooped for just a moment.

Then she heard someone call her name.

"Penny!"

She turned.

A fluffy panda with soft gray-and-white fur hurried toward her, a well-loved book tucked into her backpack.

"Mei!"

The two of them stopped just in front of each other.

For a heartbeat, neither of them spoke.

Then they both laughed.

"So..." Mei said shyly.

"So..." Penny echoed.

Without another word, they wrapped each other in a warm hug.

"It really is you," Penny whispered.

Mei smiled.

"It really is."

A familiar, gentle voice drifted across the grass.

"I found you."

Willow walked over carrying a picnic basket filled with homemade treats.

Penny and Mei didn't hesitate.

They hurried over and pulled Willow into a big hug.

Willow chuckled.

"I was wondering how long it'd take before someone started crying."

"I'm not crying," Penny sniffled.

"You absolutely are."

"...Maybe a little."

Willow smiled warmly and rubbed Penny's back.

"I missed you too."

Just as everyone settled down...

A loud yelp echoed across the park.

"WHO PUT THAT TREE ROOT THERE?"

Three panda heads turned at once.

Luna had somehow tripped over a root sticking out of the ground rolling harmlessly into the soft grass.

A second later she popped back onto her feet.

"I'm okay!"

She dusted herself off and sprinted toward them.

Penny couldn't stop laughing.

"Luna!"

Luna practically launched herself into the group, wrapping everyone in one enormous hug.

"I CAN FINALLY HUG ALL OF YOU!"

I ..well ..shoot..

You’ve stumped me 😅

I like to say that they only love themselves, but I think that if they did have crushes, it would have to be on the type of pets that are on their owners level so to speak. what’s the pet equivalent of Josh?? 

If anyone reading this ships them with anybody, please let me know. I’m curious now. I feel like they would have some definite celebrity crushes or maybe be the type to make up that they have a boyfriend or girlfriend, but you never see them?

Another set of twins would be perfect though!

Now that I think about it Zoe better keep Digby close 👀 I could see them getting friendly with him or maybe just maybe dr handsome face those are just the first two that came to mind.

That’s actually a really good question! I often wonder if they knew how to use technology before Blythe came along. 

I feel like Penny definitely knows the basics like taking pictures, swiping, possibly typing?

I can at least confirm the first two from the show: 

It might be kind of fun to rank them from most tech savvy to least but I would at least put Penny somewhere in the middle if I had to!

The way I worded that probably didn’t end up being exactly what I was trying to say. 

So since the blog that I’m currently on is all about LPS 2012 I haven’t really taken any crossover fanfiction ideas or many things that stray from this just LPS seeing as it would potentially clog up my blog so to speak with more then just the one show if that makes sense!

my other response I talked about potentially making another blog where those could go seeing as they’ve become pretty popular, but I haven’t really put much thought into it. Seeing as many people on here keep me pretty busy when it comes to fanfiction requests in general! 😅

Penny sat on her favorite cushion by the apartment window watching the clock.

2:42.

Eighteen minutes left.

Not that she was counting..

Okay, she was definitely counting..

Saturday afternoons always seemed to move slower than every other day of the week.

Her owner was busy cleaning the apartment, humming softly while putting things away. Penny knew she should probably be doing something productive herself.

Instead, she found herself staring at the clock again.

2:43.

"How is that possible?" she muttered.

The minute hand seemed determined to move as slowly as it could.

Penny let out a sigh and rested her chin on her paws.

Every Saturday at three o'clock, she had a video call with her girlfriends.

The tradition had started a long time ago.

Even though they couldn't always visit each other in person, they made sure they never missed their Saturday call.

It was Penny's favorite part of the week.

Thinking about it made her smile.

Her thoughts drifted to Mei first.

Mei was probably reading right now.

She was almost always reading.

Whenever Penny called unexpectedly during the week, there was a good chance she'd find Mei curled up somewhere comfortable with a book in front of her face.

Mei could be quiet around new pets, but once she got comfortable she could talk for hours.

Especially if someone asked about one of her favorite stories.

Penny liked listening to her.

Even when she was talking about books Penny had never read.

Then there was Willow.

Willow always seemed to know exactly what to say.

Whenever Penny was worried about something, Willow somehow managed to make everything feel a little easier.

Not because she had all the answers.

She didn't.

But she listened.

Really listened.

And that meant a lot.

Penny often found herself telling Willow things she never tell anyone else.

Then there was Luna.

Penny laughed just thinking about her.

Luna was impossible to predict.

Every week she had some new story.

Sometimes funny.

Sometimes ridiculous.

Usually both.

Penny never knew what Luna was going to say next.

Last month Luna had somehow managed to get herself stuck inside a laundry basket.

The explanation still didn't make sense.

But it had made everyone laugh so hard they could barely finish the call.

Penny smiled to herself.

She missed them.

Not in a sad way.

Just in the way you miss pets you care about when they're far away.

The calls helped.

They talked almost every day through messages, but Saturdays were different.

On Saturdays nobody was in a hurry.

Nobody was busy.

For a few hours they could just spend time together.

Penny glanced at the clock again.

2:52.

Closer.

She hopped off the cushion and wandered around the apartment.

Her owner was now sitting on the couch reading.

Penny climbed onto the armrest beside him.

He then smiled gently scratching behind one of her ears.

"You're awfully happy today."

Penny smiled.

If only he knew why.

A few minutes later, Penny had managed to slip away toward her favorite corner of the apartment.

The tablet sat charging on a small table nearby.

Ready for the call.

Ready for three o'clock.

Penny settled onto a pillow beside it.

The waiting felt easier now.

She imagined what everyone was doing.

Mei was probably finishing a chapter.

Willow might be organizing something.

Luna was probably causing chaos somewhere.

The thought made her giggle.

2:57.

Almost there.

Penny's tail swished excitedly.

2:58.

She sat up straighter.

2:59.

Her heart did a little flip.

Then—

The tablet rang.

Penny's ears immediately perked up.

A huge smile spread across her face.

Right on time.

She tapped the answer button.

The screen lit up.

"Hello,hi,what’s up my lovelies!" three familiar voices greeted at once.

Penny's smile somehow grew even bigger.

"Hi, everyone!"
