Any thoughts on tape emulation plugins? Here is a new Tape emulation Plugin by UAD Oxide Tape Recorder. I am using it on a Lowrey Organ part in a song on my new upcoming album. Fascinating. Thoughts on Tape Emulation Plugins? This is the @uaudio Studer A800 Tape Recorder plugin. I’m using it on their Ravel Piano digi instrument. It sounds good. It reminds me of the sound of a grand piano recorded on 1/2” tape from one of my first recordings in 1990. I grew up recording to tape.
