there’s  a  mix  of  gunpowder  and  fisherman’s  ash  coating  the  amazon,   streaked  messily  along  freckled  cheeks  and  stuck  to  her  hands.     another  report  of  a  fisherman  gone  missing  while  sailing  at  night  and  her  father  suspected  sirens.     emma  had  voulenteered  to  stay  behind  while  they  went  out  and  did  their  fake  detective  thing,   mixing  up  the  ingredients  to  put  in  the  empty  shell  casings.     turns  out  fisherman’s  ash  is  a  lot  messier  than  expected,   and  the  smell  of  gunpowder  irritates  her  nose,   causes  it  to  scrunch  up.      in  moments  like  this,   she  didn’t  like  her  enhanced  senses  so  much.

gaze  glances  up  for  a  moment  when  the  door  of  the  motel  room  swings  open,   sam  stepping  inside  first  with  dean  following  close  behind,   six  pack  in  hand  and  fake  badge  tossed  on  the  table,   beers  set  down  gently.      one  of  the  bottles  swiped,   emma  goes  back  to  filling  the  last  of  the  bullets  with  the  finished  powder,   taking  a  moment  to  crack  open  the  bottle  top  with  her  teeth  and  spit  it  out,   the  metal  top  landing  somewhere  close  to  the  bin.      close  enough,   she  thinks  with  a  grin.       ❝   hey.   ❞     dean’s  gruff  admonishment  heard  and  her  grin  falls,   brows  draw  in  an  identical  frown  when  apple  green  eyes  stare  up  at  their  mirror.     the  eldest  winchester  crouches  down  beside  her  and  swipes  the  beer  bottle  before  his  daughter  can  protest,   holding  it  out  of  reach  so  she  can  only  frown  harder  and  turn  back  to  the  bullets,   lips  pursed  in  a  pout.
