Classick

The year 5012. Aliens from outer space launched an invasion of Earth. Due to their military creation, called “Machines”, humankind was annihilated. The few survivors sought refuge on the moon. 

The year 5204. Countermeasures using Androids were initiated. However, due to the sheer number of Machines, they failed to land a decisive blow. For several thousand years the battle was deadlocked. After performing many experiments with different prototypes, in the year 11937, the first YoRHa Android was created. 

March of the year 11945, the 243rd descent attack was carried out by YoRHa units 1D, 2B, 4B, 7E, 11B and 12B when they were ambushed by a Goliath-class Machine. Four Androids were destroyed immediately after entering the atmosphere, and one Android went missing. The lone survivor, 2B, united with unit 9S in order to continue their mission. That mission has been classified as Top Secret by HQ. Furthermore, there is a mission for us pod programs that is yet to be announced. The time and place of said mission is undetermined, 2B and 9S, as well as other androids, will never be informed of the matter.

REPORT: From Pod 042 and Pod 153. This will conclude documentation within the internal network. 

RECOMMENDATION: An immediate return to normal duties.

This one took me a while to complete. While working on it I felt that if I wanted to give the OST justice, I couldn’t just stop at the 1 hour mark. I added different variations of some tracks, a fair amount of dialogue and some pod interactions. To me, this video game is a masterpiece and everyone should play it. Thank you for listening!
