Despite everything you’ve done to me and everything that’s happened, I still wake up every morning choosing to be kind and soft

If I let you see my bad days, I hope you know your special

I hope you know it replays in my head everyday

It’s okay to feel angry about your illness. It’s okay to cry, scream, or breakdown over it. Being chronically ill isn’t something you just get over. Even if you’ve lived with it for weeks, months, or years you are valid in how you feel about it. There’s not enough people that understand everyday is different, and everyday you are different too.
