Yes.
It's okay to just be yourself.
You shouldn't have to act like someone you're not, to be loved, valued and appreciated.
I know someone needs to hear this...pass it on
Reminder: it’s okay :)

{I will recover}
“It’s okay to change your yes to a no. Yeses aren’t permanent. They’re something we choose again and again, each and every day. Something we have the right to recall and reconsider as soon as saying yes no longer feels conducive to our wellbeing and happiness. It doesn’t matter whether you said yes to a job, a date, a relationship, sex, a favor to a friend, a social endeavor, or a vow of silence — you don’t ever have to commit to something that forces you to compromise who you are and what feels right; especially if it’s something you agreed to under pressure, intimidation, or force. Changing your yes to a no might make people angry. It might hurt their feelings, cause them to see you as a flake, and result in lost connections. But if saying no means staying true to yourself, honoring your feelings, and making self-care a priority, it’s worth it. You are worth it. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.”
— Daniell Koepke

7 Things to Quit
1. Getting your self esteem from others.
2. Constantly attacking and putting yourself down.
3. Thinking that others are better than you.
4. Expecting things to not turn out well.
5. Living in the past.
6. Fearing the future.
7. Being afraid of change.

self care is putting your future self first. it’s resisting things that feel good temporarily but makes you feel worse after a while, like impulse shopping or scrolling on your phone. it’s doing things which don’t feel good but gives you more happiness and less anxiety in the long term, like studying, changing discouraging thoughts, or getting out of bed.
Don’t follow in anyone else’s steps just simply because. Their path is not meant for you. You must create your own beautiful trail.

it’s never too late!!!!!!! to text them back. to drink enough water today. to get into a skincare routine. to learn the piano or how to paint!! to learn winged eyeliner. to tell them how u feel. to start getting fitter. to get changed or brush your teeth or shower today. to read that book or watch that show everyone was talking about years ago. to turn an acquaintance into a friend. if u don’t start somewhere u won’t go anywhere at all.

Help mentally ill people
Too often, mentally ill people tend to think they’re worthless. Show compassion and build them up with kindness, Encourage them to get stronger - say “YOU MATTER”, repeat it over and over. Explain why they’re unique and loved. Help them focus on their recovery. Make sure they understand you’re there for them.
