One of the hardest things in the world to do is nothing. We want solutions, we want answers, and we want them now! Too often I find myself rushing into situations when God has told me to be still. It is in the quiet moments that we hear God the loudest. The Bible says that trials give us patience, patience leads to experience, and experience becomes hope. Before a lot of big miracles in the Bible Jesus would go to sleep. One thing I have in common with Jesus is that we both love naps! On a serious note though, I believe that Jesus resting before something big happened is symbolic of our need to rest in God while we wait for our breakthrough. God hasn’t forgotten about us, and He is in control of our tough situation. So what do we need to do? Give it to God, and go to sleep.
