“……i guess you’re right. um… you could try dressing up like nurse joy instead, maybe? that’s a bit more… family-friendly… probably.”

“That’s a m-much better idea. I think it would be easier for people to recognize too.” even she knew what Pokemon was, despite not having a chance to play any of the games. It would also be a lot more welcoming, perhaps she’d dress the nurses office up like a Pokemon center too.

He gave her a bright smile, his face a bit flushed from the biting winds.

“It’s fine r-really, I wouldn’t want you to catch a cold Komaeda-san.” She was dressed up as a witch, Ibuki had chosen the costume. A black hat with a light purple ribbon with pumpkin designs in lace wrapped around it, the top had a black cat print on the chest and her skirt was black with the same pumpkin designs as the ribbon on the hat. To top it all off, a cloak with spider web designs on it.  She uncliped the cloak and held it out to him, “It’s r-really warm, so it should be able to help.”

“I-I’m the Ultimate Nurse...I was..checking to see if you’re suffering from some memory loss...” He seemed to be able to answer the rest of her questions just fine, except the one about the prime minister.  “You don’t seem to be suffering from any kind of memory loss.” so that just meant that he’d forgotten about her. Was she truly that forgettable? She teared up a bit at that... “We m-met earlier...at orientation...” 

A gentle warning as his grip was quickly released from her. At least she seemed to be okay. 

“T-Thank you Tanaka-san..” That had been close, she hadn’t even noticed the wire laying across the hallway. She looked at the mass of cables and wires, a clear tripping hazard. If it wasn’t for him, she was sure that she’d be wrapped up in those wires right now. She bowed to him a bit, oh god, um...what now, she should say something but she was drawing a total blank.  She tried not to tear up in her awkwardness.
