I wasn’t finished with this color story.

LOOK 072 introduced me to the relationship between cobalt, fuchsia, and citron. This look asks a different question: what happens when the silhouette changes instead of the palette?

I’m realizing I don’t move on from ideas very quickly.

This is really an extension of LOOK 071. I kept thinking about the contrast between soft knitwear and sequins and wanted to revisit it from a different angle.

The sweater says winter morning. The skirt says late night out. Somewhere in the middle is where I think the outfit finally makes sense.

This started as a fun little color study. I wanted to see how far I could push complementary colors before everything fell apart. Turns out adding one unexpected color made the whole thing feel more balanced instead of more chaotic.

I like when a piece changes the personality of another.

A sequin skirt is usually read as eveningwear, but pairing it with oversized knitwear shifts the feeling entirely. Instead of competing, the textures soften each other. The sparkle feels calmer, the knit feels a little more elevated, and the whole outfit lands somewhere in between.

So sometimes I don’t really like finished outfits.

I like pieces that can be shifted, draped, layered, or worn differently every time I reach for them. It keeps getting dressed interesting because the clothes aren’t asking to be styled one specific way.

This look started with the color story.

Orange and turquoise naturally create contrast, but by keeping the tones slightly muted, the palette feels balanced instead of loud. The acid green platforms push it a little further, while the turquoise beads tie the cool tones together.

The oversized shirt softens the tailoring underneath, and the hairstyle was loosely inspired by Seiko from Dandadan.
