     ‘   it is a bad thing,  ’ he answered with a blink. the male’s expression was unreadable as he stared at the female. ‘  you need to find joy in some other way, go irritate kangmin, he’s not nearly as likely as threatening as i am. he won’t hurt you either.  ’ he really shouldn’t be telling her this and yet here he was. ‘  just some accounts over at the gambling den, we make more than we lose.  ’

Jeongwoo smirked down at the girl before he jumped onto his bed, tackling her down with him with a loud laugh. “If you weren’t so warm, you’d be on the floor… Don’t think I’m going soft for you,” he whispered, careful of his flatmate snoring right beside them. “We’re you being honest, though?” Jeongwoo questioned, a tired smile spreading on his features, “You’re really in love with me? It’s kinda sad for someone to pine after another who will never love them back.”

“I can’t believe you’re acting like one,” Jeongwoo spoke, eyes wide in faux disbelief as he wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her steady again, dragging her into the dorm room. He couldn’t conceal his smirk at her words, leaning over to kiss her cheek as he guided her to his bed, “I knew you were practically in love with me,” he teased as he lent down to help her take off her shoes, “And who said I was letting you sleep with me? I have a perfectly good floor for you.”

“i hope it tastes okay – i haven’t made something like this in a long time.” he questions before setting the plate of food down in front of the other. combing his fingers through his hair a couple of times, he leans against the kitchen island with his forearms resting on the counter top. “it’s braised leeks with mozzarella and obviously a fried egg on top. the last time i made this was probably last year on kade’s birthday, so i really hope you like it. if not – just tell me and i can make you something else.”

“Bae Dawon, you are such a dick,” Jeongwoo whined, chasing after her only to knock her gently with a laugh, cheeks redder from her teasing, “I’m completely sober so you should at least pretend you find me attractive when I’m saving your ass from a night out in the cold when I could be cuddled up, still fast asleep.” He pouted and walked to his dorm room, half wanting to lock the other out but he was too tired for the trouble, “Come on, Princess, and be quiet because Hansol is still sleeping.”

Jeongwoo let his arm fall over her shoulder as she hugged him, lips pressing into her hair with a small smile. “I blush a lot, actually… I’m usually better at hiding it, though,” he laughed, shrugging her off with a giggle as she kissed him, wiping his cheek with the back of his hand. His back rest on the wall of the elevator as they went up, taking the most arrogant stance the generally shy boy could muster up; foot propped on the wall as his hands travelled down his toned body, “Of course you’re jealous you don’t get this every night.”

For the week? Well, it does coincide with his semester break but for a week.. That is a bit too much considering the amount of time he has to be with Minki. Pretend? That is another thing. He mulls on the matter for a brief second fingers interlacing together to form a joined fist. “Okay, what do I gain from actually saying yes? Judging from this - This all benefits you.” There should be give and take. That is how a relationship works. “Also, must it be a week?”

“Thank you,” Roman nodded softly as he accepted the coffee from Mika, immediately taking a careful sip. Focusing on anything part of a normal morning was easier than acknowledging the reality right now. “Mmm, I slept alright. How about you?” He asked in return. What should have been a perfectly fine and normal morning, was this stilted and forced mess instead, both of them trying to avoid the real topic at hand for as long as possible.

Because even while he was willing to tell Mika the whole truth of everything as long as she was asking about it, that didn’t mean he had to look forwards to doing it. Just some of the questions that he was already preparing for himself to have to answer, he knew that she wouldn’t like a lot of the answers. Plus, he still didn’t know how else she was going to take all of it either.

So when Mika spoke up, Roman nodded after taking another drink from his coffee. “I’ll answer anything that you ask me, just like I promised last night. Just… be prepared for the answers, is all ‘m telling you.”

      “ I SLEPT FINE, ” she nodded. it wasn’t a complete lie. she could have slept better, she would have preferred to still be asleep. mika knew she had to be prepared for the answers he would give her, that’s why she wanted to wait instead of asking more question last night. “and i know, i know. i’m as prepared as i’m ever going to be for this.” which wasn’t very, but she believed she’d be able to get through it without freaking out at every answer - or well, at least not in a major way. she brought the cup to her lips and took another sip. 

      “ HOW DO YOU decide? ” mika had planned on waiting for a little, at least until she finished the coffee, but it was barely half empty and she was desperate to fill the silence that came between them. “ how do you decided who, or what request to take... i’m not sure what to call it but, is it all about the price or do you look into a person first before you go? ” she knew exactly what she wanted to ask, but she needed to find another way to word it. asking if he made sure murdering someone was justified wasn’t something she wanted to come straight out with.
