your heart starts at the edges of depression and i’ve been meaning to talk to you more. i know that we’re going to get better. i know that we’re going to love more and smile more. it’s going to be alright even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. all of the years will answer for themselves– i know it. you just have to trust yourself. it hurts with you, but it hurts more without you. your name shouldn’t be the way every bad dream begins, but your shirt has shed more confessions than the lips I’ve been keeping closed. I have so much love to give, but I’ll give it to anyone but myself. I have so much love to give, but I’ve swallowed too much time to recognise my eyes in another snowflake. Im afraid if I stand still and don’t make a decision, I’ll regret it. I wanted so much to be happy today, but I just feel an overwhelming wave of defeat and sadness. I hope tomorrow will be better.
