her words rang all too true. the vampire could not name a time he had felt such weariness as he did now. both in mind and body. it had been long since he slept. and longer still has it been since he had found himself in a place where he felt content enough to do so. his eyes shut loosely and he take a deep breath. ❝ i shall take rest soon enough. ❞

❝ that all depends on this ‘it’ you are referring to. ❞ he speaks to her with slightly narrowed eyes. behind them lies a hint of uncertainty. he feels a sense of discomfort, being approached and recognized for a deed left unknown to him. the act leaves him with something akin to annoyance. but he, nonetheless, remains calm... for the time being.
