A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me “Sleeping on your folks porch again. Dreaming she said, she said, she said. Why don’t you just drop dead.” Muse a is a seemigly high school cliche. They have the looks, the popularity, the ruthlessness that they don’t attempt to hide. They rule the school with an iron fist. Their life is a blur of parties, a constant stream of sex and easily available drugs.   Muse b is the next door neighboor. They have known muse a their whole lives, always despising their very being. Muse b would much prefer a good live music show over a party teeming with drunk jocks any day of the week. They were never popular, and they quite like it that way. Fashion trends, Miley Cyrus, and teen dramas were just a small list of things that made their skin crawl. But one night, muse a stumbles home after another party. After a breakup with their drug dealing jock now-ex they decided to drink themselves in oblivion. Their mind muddled, they end up on the porch of muse b instead of their own. And that is where muse b finds them, drunk and almost incoherent. Despite their hatred for everything muse a stands for, they can’t just leave them passed out on their porch. But rousing muse a into sobering up enough to go home is no easy feat.  In their drunken state, muse a reveals to muse b that being the ruthless high school dream isn’t exactly a cure for happiness. And something clicks. Muse b just can’t seem to hate muse a as much after that night, nor get them out of their head.  So for weeks, muse b is their in the front yard, waiting for muse a to come home from their almost nightly benders. Their drunk talks become something of a comforting ritual, both usually revealing more than they would like. But it’s not without it’s complications. Both being blunt and completely honest for the first time in their lives, rows are frequent. But it seems, that they both may have met their match. In a completely different person than they would have ever expected. 

Savior “That’s when she said, I don’t have you. But I just want to save you. While there’s still something left to save. That’s when I told you I love you, girl. But i’m not the answer for the questions that you still have.” Muse a is a big time drug dealer in the city. Muse b is lost in her life. Their goal in life was to move to the big city, but that their there, they don’t know exactly where to go. Through a friend of a kind of sort of friend, at a party thrown by someone who kind of knows someone, they meet muse a. Something about muse a captivates muse b and they are dying to get anywhere close to them.  Muse b is guarded, aggressive, and sometimes just plain scary. Muse a offers their services to muse b to get closer to them. Claiming that they can use their connections, innocent looks, and great acting skills to be the perfect drug mule. And so starts a seemingly one sided relationship. Muse b does everything that muse a asks of them to do, in exchange for any bit of muse b’s time. While at first reluctant, they grow on muse b and through heated arguments and drug trafficking adventures, they slowly start to tell muse b of their past, and how they got into this dangerous, dirty world.  Muse b clings to any bit of muse a they can get. After a while, they start to delude themselves into thinking that they can save muse b. That they can take them away from this life, and change everything with just their love. But it’s never as easy as that. Not only is muse b stuck in this world, but is now dragging muse a further into it. Muse b slowly recognizes that they have some sort of feelings for muse a but can not bring themselves into breaking yet another person in their lives, but can’t seem to let muse a go.
