I'm just doing a very small Quarterly Update today because we are basically working on the same things. I am still writing The Beast's route, but I feel confident I'll finish it by the end of this year. To be honest I don't expect to make a huge amount of progress this quarter because it's summer and I have a number of fun trips happening. So I may wait until January for the next update, which will hopefully bring good news!

As always, we are slow but steady.

It's SUMMER! Who's ready to hit the beach?! Yeah? WELL TOO BAD, YOU'VE GOT BAND CAMP.

It's time to hop on a broken down band bus and head deep into the Pennsylvania woods to spend two weeks at the secluded Camp Bearpaw. Get ready to work hard and lead the sweaty Blue Mountain Marching Band as their drum major. And if you're lucky, maybe you'll even find love in between rehearsals...

It's been a minute because...guys, I swear, I have the least dramatic island there is. I mean there are tons of love triangles but everyone is just sitting in them, not making a move. Where are my dramatic confessions?!

First off, a number of new faces have appeared on Craphole Island. The Band Camp Boyfriend cast has been completed.

-Made sure to put Olive is Clark's cousin so rumors don't start flying. -Nobody seems to want to be friends with The Warden. Mr. Wiley just brushed him off and ditched him here. -Eugene fell in love with Susie! <3 -I can't get over the drummers trading their drumsticks for glowsticks.

I'm also happy to say Cadence and Tom are still going strong. However, so is Susie's crush on Tom. I guess I can't blame her, he looks so appetizing showering in that hot dog suit.

Cadence and Felicity also became very good friends after Susie introduced them and moved in together! So long as they maintain some boundaries, I'm sure they can get along well.

But today's main characters are...Doug and Peter. Let's start with Doug.

Doug was already the most eligible bachelor on the island with three ladies in love with him. Well now he has FOUR ladies in love with him! DOUG PLEASE JUST END THIS ALREADY. This is supposed to be an otome island, not the other way around!

My sister Alex is a frontrunner to win his heart since the crush is mutual. She kind of had it rough recently. Jin had asked her to move in, ignored her crush and friendzoned her, then invited a ton of guys to come live with them. I can only imagine what that smelled like.

JIN. Stop leading her on. You had your chance!

Thankfully, a savior appeared in the form of Doug, and he invited her to live with him...he also invited Karen, another girl in love with him, to come live with him. Just what are you trying to do here, Doug?

Tom and Peter wound up moving out of the Man Cave and getting their own place together. The Man Cave seems to be caving in.

During this time, besties Clark and James/Persy moved in together. Their low-drama friendship is so sweet, I had to draw it.

Hammerhead also tried to make friends with Clark, but he immediately brushed him off because he is a Captain Perseverance stan, thank you very much.

Now let's check in with Peter...

I was super hyped when he fell for Felicity! He must've given her flowers and called her the prettiest girl in the band.

Poor Sabrina, though...

But then in true Peter fashion, he fell for my bestie Becca while she was yapping.

PUT SOME CLOTHES ON AND MAKE UP YOUR MIND! I wish we could let them have two crushes at once. I asked the jury and we decided to let him fall for Becca since it's a mutual crush and we want to see something happen already.

That's it for now and I really hope I have some kind of conclusion to the Doug drama in the next update. XD

To celebrate our third anniversary, I'm sharing something special to me. I edited this video a looong time ago to my favorite song as a way to keep me motivated. Throughout development, I watched it over and over again, imagining how one day other people would get to experience these scenes and wondering how they would feel. And then one day I no longer had to wonder!

It's time for our FOURTH update and before we get to the juiciest drama Craphole Island has seen to date...congratulations are in order...

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WILEY FAMILY. I'm sorry I thought divorce was in your future. You proved me wrong. They wanted to name their kid Kaylee or Naomi, but I wanted to fit the theming so I suggested Trixie. Ms. Craft's sass is killing me though lol.

Let's check in with power couple Cadence and Tom next.

You good Tom??

Oof. So Cadence wants to marry Tom, but he always seems to be "not getting along" with her even though they're always hanging out. But who knows, maybe they can overcome it?

In other news...Doug is officially the most eligible bachelor on the island. Three different ladies are in love with him!

I even gave him travel tickets and he took two of those three ladies with him. DOUG YOU PLAYA.

Two different ladies are also in love with Peter now, one of them being Sabrina!

I'm rooting for you, girly!

With all that done, we can now focus on today's main character: Finn.

THE GASP I GUSPED WHEN HE PRESENTED ME WITH THIS NEWS YESTERDAY. I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS FINE BUT NO. APPARENTLY NOT.

And though I consider myself the divine god of Craphole Island, I still like to let my miis exercise their free will. So while this game offers more control over the outcome than its predecessor, I prefer sitting back and letting fate play out. So I allowed Finn to follow his instincts. And I screamed at him the whole time.

YOU BETTER BE CAREFUL MAN This is about to be her villain origin story. Anyways, Finn took the break up WAY harder than Adrienne and got all wrapped up in reflecting on their relationship.

Is this...supposed to imply she had a drinking problem? And DAMN you don't gotta be judging her for enjoying cake man, let the girl have a healthy appetite.

I was very annoyed with Finn and only saw fit to banish him.

How was Adrienne holding up during all of this? She was understandably sad, but then I brought James over to comfort her...

Finn who?? I love how you can see him sulking in the background as she blushes over her new man. I have heard that men take longer to get over breakups because they avoid dealing with their emotions.

I didn't feel Finn was properly punished enough because he poofed himself right out of jail so I turned his room into a jail instead, clothed him in rags, and fed him moldy bread.

Yeesh. I'm hoping to finally have a resolution to the Doug love triangle drama next time. Will that man ever make a move?! And will Cadence and Tom's relationship make it to the finish line?! One otome girlie already had her heart broken...is Cadence next?
