Desired Hope

"The trouble is, you think you have time." It's amazing (amazingly scary) how much you're life can change in a short period of time. You put off aiming for goals, ambitions and dreams, put off spending time with those you love most in life under the idea that 'You have time' - it can be done tomorrow, next week, next month, right? 1 year feels like a lifetime when it's ahead of you - but merely yesterday once it's behind you. Suddenly your 62 years old and your time on earth is numbered. Suddenly, time is running out. With the ever increasing pressures of a work to live society, we often (Unconciously) immerse ourselves into a 'virtual' reality and power through (and prioritise) daily, mundane tasks of every day working life, believing that it's a necessity to survive. Maybe it is, but surviving and living are two completely different concepts often mistaken as one. Income is versitile, it can be gained and sustained through various means. Life is only gained once and can only be sustained if you prioritising LIVING. Prioritise health, happiness - family (and friends that become family). Prioritise the small things, one day you will realise that those were the big things. One day (likely to be during ilness or retirement) you will wish you had more time to spend on the small stuff.... but by then it will be too late. By then, time has ran out and you've survived but amidst all the hustle and bustle, you've forgotten to live. 1 year ago today we said our final goodbyes to mum. I wish, things were different. We all did and still do, but it has certainly put life into perspective. 62 years or 22 years. The sand is always draining from the timer. There is no better time than the present. There is no other life to live, except this one. Don't forget to live while you are so busy trying to make a life. You have a life. Live it. Love it. Before it's taken from you. Miss you Mum💕
