Eyes like emeralds ❤️

It’s been a while since I posted, the reason for this was due to being in hospital for a while.

Whilst I am on the mend, being Ill has made me think so much about my mental health, physical health and general well-being.

When I was discharged from hospital I found that I really struggled to relax, rest and think clearly enough about how I was going to change my lifestyle. Not being able to sleep and get the rest I needed, quite frankly annoyed me and made my recovery longer.

How should we change our outlook on live? How should we get the rest we need for both our mental and physical health? How should we go forward in building a better life for ourselves? These are all questions I’m working on finding the answers for, but for now, nature the sea and a calming environment without stress, peace and quiet is a good start to this journey.

Today is our day off, finally after a long time we are having a rest day……hopefully.

This is my kitten Ozzie, he was 2 days old when he was dumped outside the gates with his 2 siblings, by his owners, because…wait for it…..they wasn’t the right colour!! Are you actually kidding me?? But they was put on the floor and the owners ran away literally ran.

He is six months old now and has never left my side since the day I took him home.

We obviously did not oblige to their request and they left shortly afterwards. What they wanted to achieve is beyond me. I was not scared, not only do we have a human security guard but I have the best security ever, I live in a sanctuary of 2000 dogs. Although, I am not worried by their threats or behaviour as nothing shocks me living here now, I am a little concerned at what drama today will bring.

I can not believe that today we are still living in a world full of hate, war, malice and brutality. That is what really scares me.
