Midnight Riot has proven to be the forerunner and the industry standard within the disco/nu-disco re-edits scene. The Midnight Riot team and its amazing roster of producers have managed to cultivate an identity that is distinctly separate to their contemporaries and has an incredible following of loyal supporters which can be noted in the sales success of nearly every release since the label's launch in 2012. The main reason for this is Midnight Riot's continued high standard of music curated by label boss Yam Who?, who maintains dedicated to shaking up the scene, breaking new talent and providing the very best the genre has to offer. After the unprecedented success of its predecessor Midnight Riot Volume 8 has arrived to be a bigger, heavier & more up-tempo affair than all the other albums to date. Yam Who? and the Midnight Riot team are delving deeper into a myriad of diverse styles, developing even further into original compositions & gliding smoothly between straight up house, twisted future disco, 80’s street soul, naughty party joints and electrifying techno. If the goal is to break new ground with every compilation and push the whole scene forward, then mission success. As ever Midnight Riot Volume 8 will be a global affair as it becomes championed by Djs all over the world and setting alight dancefloors of every shape and size.
