Buggy

I remember once during kindergarten there was a girl I always inveighed, particularly because she kept killing poor, harmless snails on her way to school. One day, she snuck a bunch of ants (which she scooped with her bare hands from a nearby anthill) and put them on the teacher’s desk. We were forced by our parents to walk to school together against our own will, and since we were both always the first kids to get to our class, nobody saw her put those ants in the desk. But I did. When we were asked who did it I kept being a snitch and saying that my arch nemesis did, but no one believed me. They thought I was making stuff up to get her in trouble. Since nobody took the blame, the whole class had to sit out at recess. I kept glaring at that proud sicko. I’m a grown man now and I still think about this. That girl’s turpitude will forever scar me. She’s probably a grown woman now, living her life somewhere… and I can’t help but wish the worst for her. I hope you rot, Maria.
