I am bored so I’m starting a tag game!

what languages do you speak? Do you have just one first language/language spoken when you were little? Multiple? Do you still speak them? How about ones you learned later? Are you fluent? that sort of thing

I’ll start! My first language is English (specifically American English lol) but I’ve been learning Spanish for five years and counting and I consider myself mostly fluent (not native level by any means but I can read/listen/write/speak well enough, and my abilities there aren’t much worse than in English, though my vocabulary is definitely less robust). I know a bit of French from my mom and middle school, and can figure some other things out à la Spanish. I can also swear in six languages (I don’t but I could lol)

I speak English, which is my native language, and I know a bit of German as well. Not enough to write it or have a full conversation, but basic words and phrases. I also know a few words in Spanish. And I'd love to learn ASL!!

my native language is English but I’ve been speaking mandarin since kindergarten so I’ve been speaking it a long time. I wouldn’t say I’m fully fluent but I think I can hold a conversation well enough. 你好！我叫 Alan! (hello my name is Alan) I would LOVE to learn French or ASL I know some French from being in The Scarlet Pimpernel and picking it up from dialogue but other than that I know like nothing lol

my native language is english, and i’ve been learning spanish for about 12 years. i’m not fully fluent but i’m a solid bit of the way there. i also know a little bit of asl, i can hold a basic conversation but nothing beyond small talk. i know a few random words in italian and greek. i want to learn polish and/or brazilian portuguese, next, but farsi has also interested me for a while

English in my native language, and the only language I can hold a conversation in unless you count pig Latin. I do know some random Finnish words, as well as a few songs because of our culture, a bit of Latin, a tinyyy bit of German, and some American sign language

I speak german fluently and started learning English about 4years ago but am now kinda fluent in it

I was learning dutch and russian for a while but dropped them to learn swedish instead. In the future i really want to learn a form of sign language aswell

I am learning French in school, though I doubt that I'll pursue or learn it to fluency

Spanish is my first language but with English I have been learning it since I was 6 so I consider myself good at speaking (at least), and I'm still learning. According to my teachers, I have a B2 level almost C1 but I don't think I'll get there yet. Anyways, I want to learn another language after finishing my English course but I dunno which one, I was thinking French but now I'm not sure.

english is my native language, i learned a bit of french for fanfics fun, i started spanish for school but never finished 💀, and my family speaks tagalog.
