“Really? I think that would be a great read for kids. But you know kids like it to have pictures & they want them to be colorful.”

“That’s why I love fashion so much. All the colors! It was an fashion set that inspired the book. A young man had such an elegant green and earth tone outfit it made me think if a prince!”

“That does sound like a very nice combination. All those earthy tones together would scream out ‘woodland prince’ to me.”

“Well….” She felt her face burn red and she smiled shyly, “It was one of your first designs, and I think it was you wearing it when I saw it. It was lovely.”

“I know, but a small scoop tonight won’t hurt him, but no more than that. We want to make sure to keep his diet semi balanced.” she laughed at Legolas’ small pout and touched his cheek. “Now now Love, pout and I’ll shall eat all the ice cream for you!”

“Well…that should be alright. But don’t go overboard, or else he’ll refuse to sleep tonight & I don’t need that for any of us.” He took note of Legolas pouting & chuckled. “He gets that from you.”

“Yes he does.” she was not ashamed to admit where he got his pouting from. After all, she used her own pout well. “But you know you adore his my love.”

“You’re the one that taught it to him once he was old enough. I knew as soon as he started doing it that you had to have taught him because I didn’t.”

In the bathroom she bent over the sink, her face in her hands. She felt guilty for how happy she was. While, yes, Thranduil had told her to move on if anything ever happened to him she still felt the ache in her heart. Brushing away tears she splashed some water on her face and put on a smile. Best not to worry over it right now. Humming she went back to the kitchen and grabbed herself a cup of water and serving of food. Her seat was on the opposite side of the table facing Thorin, Legolas at the end between them. “Dig in!”
