All I see with the New GitS is that the Twitter anime community is full of larpers that don't understand how the industry works, why does it do the things it does, how do they evolve from one industry condition to another, etc.

They just consume and have severe recency bias.

"We thought this was loss technology, I haven't seen designs this lively since Akira".

Which means you're not used to because you don't see old anime, you just wait new anime to look like the old ones.

And, so we're ignoring Studio Trigger doing this since being Gainax on Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill and later on Witch Academia? WIT doing Ranking of Kings with that 70s World Masterpiece Theater? Megalobox? TMS doing Lupin Part 4 in 2015 and Lupin Zero in 2023? and MAPPA doing Ranma?
