Rules: List five things you never get tired of writing; it can be tropes, themes, characters, phrases, whatever brings you joy. Then tag five people!  

1. Parent and child dynamics. It’s actually not something I’ve really thought about before, but that’s something I’ve done in pretty much every fandom, and in original stuff I’ve written? I do a lot of kid fic, because it’s fun to see my faves become parents, especially bc it tends to be a complicated thing for the characters I love? But something I do a lot is adult children and their parents, especially if it’s like a OUAT situation with snowing meeting grown emma, etc? 

2. Hurt/comfort. I don’t really have much to say about this one, but it’s about the tenderness and the intimacy being magnified but an intense situation/protectiveness? 

3. Pet names. I really love finding pet names that feel “in voice” for a character, if that makes sense? Swanfire has canon “baby,” and I’ve used babe a lot for them, but I have other favorites that I love sweetheart or honey or darling for. And sometimes pet names don’t fit the character, but there may be a situation where they come out, or another form of expressing familiarity--it’s just a fun way to make the intimacy specific to that character. Also sometimes it’s hot. 

4. TIME TRAVEL. I FUCKIN LOVE TIME TRAVEL. IT’S TIME TRAVEL??????

5. Stream of consciousness/inner monologue? Idk really how to explain this one but like.......third person close pov, where you’re just in the person’s head, writing in their specific voice with their mannerisms? most recently i did it this spn young dean pov fic. I think a lot of my Emma POV fics were like that too? I’m a third person girl 99% of the time, but I switch between kind of third person omniscient where the narration has its own voice, and this, and at the risk of sounding pretentious, it feels like i’m letting the character speak for themselves? Voice is something I think I have a pretty decent feel for so it’s honestly just me being indulgent about something that comes naturally to me?
