You can find it on ao3, wattpad, and FFN.
I give you a LENGTHY preview today because Iâm just so in love with this banter that I couldnât trim it down!!
Heed the authorâs notes and tags folks.Â
âWell, we all knew Blaise would be thrilled to go somewhere else,â he declared. âHeâs fucked his way through all of Slytherin at this pointââÂ
âMost of Slytherin,â Blaise interrupted. âThere are certain individuals who refuse to crack.â He cast a pointed glance at Malfoy, Theo, and Pansy on the other side of the table.Â
âDonât look at me,â Malfoy drawled without looking up from his Ancient Runes notes. âYouâre not my type.â
âWhat is your type?â Blaise questioned suspiciously.Â
He briefly glanced up to meet Hermioneâs gaze. âWitches.âÂ
Blaise appeared to weigh Malfoyâs answer. Perhaps searching for some past anecdote to push Malfoy over the edge. He turned a narrowed gaze to Theo instead of pushing it further. âTheoâŚwhatâs your excuse?âÂ
âIâve seen you naked many times. Iâm not that impressed.â Theo responded flatly. Then he turned to his left with a lascivious look. âDraco on the other handâŚâÂ
âI have an idea,â Malfoy nearly yelled as he threw his quill down, âHow about we stop sexualizing Draco?â
Blaise ignored him which prompted the blond wizard to throw his hands in the air in defeat. âPansy doesnât need to explain. Iâm not damaged enough for her tastes.âÂ
Pansy just tilted her head as if she was considering his assessment, before finally shrugging.Â
Genuinely curious, Hermione decided to ask about the remaining members of the group. âAnd Daphne?â
âOh, been there. Done that,â Blaise said with a dismissive wave of his hand. âDaphne is lovely butâfor the sake of the friend groupâwe decided that two astonishingly attractive people such as ourselves couldnât be in a relationship. It would cause too much chaos and unabashed jealousy.â
Pansy scoffed and leaned over the table to stage whisper to Hermione. âThatâs code for Blaise wanted to move on and Daphne wanted her first time not to be inadequate so she went to the Slytherin Slag.â
The nickname prompted very undignified snorts from the boys. Daphne merely nodded her agreement and sent Blaise a wink.Â
Blaise looked offended and Hermione prepared herself for an oncoming fight. âYou need better nicknames.â He pointed an accusatory finger at the raven-haired witch. âI liked Italian Stallion much better.â
Hermione finallyâeasilyâjoined in the boisterous laughter from around the table.Â
