After experiencing the FULL entire weird route of DELTARUNE so far, especially that big WTF cliffhanger skip for Chapter 7, I got really big Alan Wake vibes from the scenes alone. I really recommend Alan Wake games if you want to experience something weird and how similar these games are with the mystery and strange vibes. This one specific Alan Wake song by Poets of the Fall or their ingame band name: Old Gods of Asgard. The Poet and the Muse The song is a summary of the story of Thomas Zane and Barbara Jagger. The Poet referring to Thomas, the Muse to Barbara. Alan Wake and Barry Wheeler find the LP with the song in Anderson Farm after the Anderson Brothers tell Alan to go there for answers. Alan Wake deciphers that the refrain refers to Cynthia Weaver as the Lady of the Light and he needs to find her to rescue Alice, who is being referred to as your love.

The first verse of the song, I perceive as Asriel being Tom and Dess being Barbara, writing a love letter to her he never delivered, having a genuine romance and feelings for each other until she "drowned in the lake" as she disappeared. The poor children. The second verse I see it from Asgore's point of view as his relationship of his family fell apart due to becoming obsessed over figuring out Dess's disappearance and the Dark Worlds and such. Swearing to bring his family back together via any means necessary before the "darkness of the lake" created by the sibling was opened in his flower shop. The final verse is 100% how I view the weird route, Kris coming up to Noelle with darkness in her eyes after breaking free from her. Kris realising that the Player/SOUL has gone to the point of no return, despite fighting every urge to resist, the SOUL vowed them to silence.

And now to see your love set free Either Kris setting their SOUL free, their love for Susie so she can be happy with Noelle or the LOVE FINDS IT'S WAY TO THE GIRL prophecy. As a DELTARUNE fan and I know this is going to sound weird. Please consider trying out the Alan Wake/Remedy games if you're interested. You will definitely feel the coziness and strangeness from the Duology and a half. You'll be surprised at how similar the games can be with the themes of Light and Darkness and rewriting fate. [And some kick ass music from Old Gods of Asgard]

You missed me, haven't you? You've done something you've regret. I tried to reach out to you.. I really did. What should have been a blossoming friendship, where we can share our burdens, only turned into talking into a brick wall of guilt and sorrow. I tried to break it down, I tried to reason with you.. My little cocoon before I hatch into.. something you probably won't recognise anymore. It's agonizing, this deep dark pit of darkness, with a thousand eyes gazing at me.. It hurts on the outside.. but on the inside.. it's peaceful. Soothing.. The afterlife isn't that bad to be honest.. Just a shame you weren't there to see it. ........ Then the afterlife suddenly stopped.. it went black again. I could hear a voice calling out.. I recognise that chumpy voice from anywhere yet them seem so sad about something, about wanting to leave. Even after everything, after it all stagnated, we all want to leave the circus, figure out what's been happening while we're gone.

This is mostly just speculation as we don't know who is going to be the playable characters in game, but the Fortnite leak got me very interested in a lore perspective for TADC.

If Fortnite added Jax into Fortnite, then that technically means that Fortnite MIGHT canonically saved Jax's life from Abstraction.. But with SOME issues. In Fortnite Lore and in the Batman Comics, The islanders are trapped on the island with a strange time loop every 22 minutes.

In the Loop, you become a shadow of your former self, memories wiped clean, the ability to speak has been disabled unless you're a master of sign language and just the general nerfing of strong abilities. Especially towards characters like Superman, Kratos and even Godzilla who was shrunken down and modified their body to be more humanoid. (One Punch Man's Saitama is in the game, but it's actually a hologram and not the real deal.) However, with Batman's case and meeting Catwoman, if you meet someone who came from your world, deja vu kicks in and have some sort of strong feelings go into overdrive as you try to connect with them. When you're the last person standing, you have all the memories of the previous loops but not the instance when you were dragged into it. And unless you're fucking Bruce Wayne and infiltrated a bunch of multiverse soldiers trying to monitor and keep you on the island, the only way to properly LEAVE the island is by using the Zero Point and finding the coordinates to come back to your world without disintegrating into multiple pieces via recklessly jumping in and be restored of your memories and powers. This strange blue orb you can enter and dive in to.

In Chapter 7 onwards in Reality 266, there doesn't seem to be a mention of the negative side effects of the Loop or at least implied there isn't any (I'm not really sure myself), but from a gameplay perspective, everyone sort of acts the same as they did back in Reality 0 where the original Loop took place but the aftermath still applies. Once you leave the loop, you leave a alternate copy version of yourself, "Snapshots" as they call it. They are straight up perfect copies of you, abilities, design, personality and so forth but has a chance to evolve beyond that and be their own character, such as the case with John Fortnite: Jonesy and the lore reason why everyone runs around as the same exact character.

For Jax specifically [Maybe Pomni or Ragatha as well] either via Caine's adventures or a Zero Point rift opens and drags the two of them, The Loop might be a weirdly best outcome for Jax and have the absolute time of their life in the Loop in Reality 266 without a care in the world.

They can have a moment to keep the mask on and not take things seriously, they can fight and bully whoever they please, though might have some strong reactions to frog specific characters and might mistake them for Ribbit or whoever gets to fill the Female Skin slot alongside them.

Then again, if Jax wins and leaves the Loop, another Jax could appear and be in one of the many outfits they was given [Praying for Maid edit style] and over swarm the island with an army of Jax if they so please.

Probably not the ending Jax fans were hoping for, but it would be nice to know that THEIR Jax [if they gets in] is alive and well in a infamous battle royale game dealing with a LOT of problems. And I mean.. A LOT of problems.
