Arluq, one of the original chosen of Ketecos. Seeking refuge on the ocean God with her people, Arluq was appointed by the God to defend her new home. After prevailing against pirates, monsters, and many challenges of the wild ancient seas, Arluq went on to help take on Marron.

Bruin was a Barbarian outlander who United the warring tribes of his homeland. He did this with his own ferocity and craft, but also with his power to wildshape into a bear. He was granted this power after rescuing a bear cub that was injured in a trap. Saving the bear brought the attention of the islands primordial guardian, who granted Bruin the power to change into a mighty bear at will. He later became part of the team that would take on Marron

Originally a historian bard employed by the Empire, Octavia was assigned as an escort for the party as they investigated the Komodo Swamp, her Homeland. During their adventures Octavia grew close to her fellow adventurers, and her knowledge and support have proven invaluable both in and out of combat. Octavia is the disinherited heiress of the Houndstooth Corporation, the biggest textile producer in the Empire, if not the world itself. She uses a special lyre known as Huutsi's Whisper, inherited from her great aunt Abracadabrella, to weave powerful bardic spells and songs.

Isnana was a paladin chosen by the goddess Edel, and was part of the original team of heroes to stop Marron.
