Tons of art in my life lately because it’s all you can do to create for the sake of adding something new to the world in the midst of the destruction. I’ve been creating love and happiness. Spreading it to those who can appreciate it and swimming in it like lotion on myself. Feeling a hydrated & moisturized soul allows me to relax when life gets dry and pale against my wishes. No longer feeling the years of grief that were dark clouding my days. It blows past my eyes and into the wind leading me to new places to stay warm and soft. And always thank god for Black women and queers because I’m saved by their generosity and care. At work & in nightlife as the dancefloor stays a heaven for my body to be reminded where I came from and why I was put on this earth: to dance, love and experience.

We hot boxed the river, ate Korean BBQ and drank Soju till I remembered that my true joy never comes from work but from friends who will smoke & feed you without hesitation
