Here we go. My music isn't my great vocals or clever instrumentation or liberal education, its my lyrics. So lets lean into that. Let's create the idea of a world that the limitations thereof are only superimposed (like a wave form) in the context of this song. So Derek Weaver gets his own song. Suddenly Queen Maureen exists.

I even have lore about the instruments I own. A world traveling guitar who makes frequent trips to the underworld and this weird xiao man or woman who gets visual cues from good luck dragons from childhood movies but also gives me serious pre-Fall Lucifer vibes.

As a 40 year old, I've lost a lot of things in my life. One, my sense of wonder is very hard to trigger. I have a lot of joyless days. Many of the the things I used to enjoy no longer appeal to me.
