Vör is a lesser-known goddess in Norse mythology, closely associated with wisdom, awareness, and perception. As one of Frigg’s trusted handmaidens, she possesses an all-seeing knowledge that makes it impossible to deceive her : nothing remains hidden from Vör. Her name itself is linked to vigilance, symbolizing her role as a divine embodiment of truth and insight. While little is recorded about her deeds, Vör’s presence in the mythological tradition highlights the value of wisdom and the importance of uncovering hidden truths in both the mortal and divine realms.
