Me too, it just kind of pops every once in a while lol. Wanderers is my last long multi-chap...I still may do fics that are 2-5 chapters, like The Only Exception, Like I See You, Hush. Something that doesn't take months and feels like less of a commitment.

I, as an avid reader, entered this fandom not too long ago, and I found amazing stories and people who still interact and put their love in it.

We have a little community of 2000 members on Twitter who still keep updates and share fics daily.

I cherish every one of them, and I'm thank thankful for all the work artists and writers have been gifting us all these years. 🫂❤️🫂

Totally agree. And I hope I'm not bringing anyone down - I can only speak for myself and my own experiences with the fandom. There's still a lot of love for Kanthony out there.

There definitely are still readers around, but I will say, we do not hear from them nearly as much. I don't talk about this a lot because I don't want it to sound like I'm complaining or ungrateful at all - I hear a lot from readers on Tumblr and I really love those conversations. I know there are devoted readers trying to keep the fandom alive. But engagement IS way down. I get...probably a third of the hits/kudos/comments that I did a year ago. My average number of comments on a chapter now used to be what I got on a fic that I kind of considered as bombing lol, or just being less popular.

It was an adjustment but I still wanted to write, I still wanted to be part of the fandom, so I adapted. But I think it's important to say, only because there's a bit of a question of where all the authors went...but I think it happened on both sides, writers AND readers losing interest, and that's a self-fulfilling loop. A lot of people on both sides probably just lost the fever over time, which is totally normal. But writers do stop writing if there's less engagement, and readers do stop reading if there are fewer fics. I definitely don't mean to guilt anyone as I'm not the most prolific reader myself...but if you're reading a fic that you really love, just let the author know once in a while! It'll have more impact now than ever.

Yeah I suppose everyone sees it differently...from my perspective, a big drop in writers and a big drop in readers and engagement. But there are still thousands of really incredible Kanthony fics out there, there are plenty I've still never read!

I used a kit (original post) that's basically like paint by numbers, you just match the gems up to the number on the canvas.

Thank you! Anthony getting hurt was a very good reader suggestion to help him see how Kate really feels about him. I'm glad I was able to work it in. They're both so devoted to each other and committed to being together and they just needed to say their insecurities out loud so they could realize that they're on exactly the same page.

amazing chapter...as always...and now, when getting jealous they will not act so stupid again, because they talked about their insecurities and because our girl Kate is wayyyyy more emotionally developed, she should use praise during sex, after Anthony rejects someone's flirting-proposition, without even knowing that Kate is watching..that would definitely work on Anthony...

Thanks! Yes, they still have to work on being secure in their relationship but that was a huge step forward. Lmao that definitely tracks because Anthony has a praise kink and no one can tell me otherwise.

Aw, thank you! I did publish the first few chapters all at once because they were drabbles I had written on Twitter and I wanted to preserve them somewhere. I wasn't expecting it to grow into its own thing, but it's been such a great place for me to test out ideas and new genres.
