We Are Constellations

I found strands of her long black hair in his room. He had washed the sheets but not the comforter. He didn’t vacuum. He said she’s just a friend and holding those strands I knew something had happened and yet I couldn’t bring myself to ask about it. Even now when she flirts with him I pretend I don’t know.

I tell him everything is fine. That I’m ok with this. I’m a big girl.

It hurts so fucking much. I’ve stayed loyal to a man who has never committed to me. I have allowed my love to be taken advantage of all over again.

And to top off Sean keeps reaching out. I had to block him and everyone else.
