In Love With My Sadness

I can literally feel the thoughts bubbling in my head like a cursed soup

“I am so sorry for hurting you while I was trying to hurt myself.”

Actually upon further inspection that shit really hurted my feelings

i’m either just going to be numb or have extreme mood swings for the rest of my life i guess

I wanna burn down every single bridge I built cause I’m tired of being the only person that makes sure it doesn’t fall apart

It hurts when you realise it isn't normal to be this traumatised

Sometimes I forget that people can only meet you as far as they have met with themselves. If someone is being unkind, they struggle with being kind with themselves. If someone is being closed off, it is because they are having trouble connecting with themselves. Being aware of this reminds me to be patient with myself and others. In order to nurture others in a healthy manner, we must first be able to do that for ourselves.

i wish there were more than 24 hours in a day and beverages were $1 and growing up didn’t hurt so much
