america in regards to the holocaust has always been unwilling to recognize its part in nazism. how the nazi party was an avid student of the american eugenics movement, reservations, segregation laws, and how they used what they had learned to carry out genocide, mass sterilization, mass killing of disabled people. then to have america turn around and attempt to distance itself from that fact by feigning ignorance is still infuriating
