Dark and Silent

Furball Pup panted happily, then ducked back under Butter Tiger’s tail, nuzzling the bigger animal to try and get her to move. She just grunted and stretched a little.

Furball Pup panted happily, his tail wagging light crazy.

Fox Bead accepted your pets. The others couldn’t feel them.

Furball Pup poked his out from under Butter Tiger’s tail. He snorted and wagged his tail. “Pet pet pet!”

Fox Bead nodded and bumped Brown Sugar. “He’s started making more sounds now. But he won’t let us remove the bandages....” Brown grunted and pushed the pet away.

Brown Sugar shook Fox Bead off his head and shrugged. The spirit pet settled down beside his head....and spoke. “Of course he’s not mute. But he’s got bandages covering his face, what do you want him to do?”

And he made a sound! An annoyed grunt.

And the tiger always agreed....and they were...heavy....
