This moment is so dramatic. Tuomas said one of the reasons they let Tarja go was that they felt Tarja didn’t listen to them (the manager or the band). Well, here Tarja just sang out a question Tuomas wrote: “Ever dreamed of me?” And then Tuomas broke down for a while. I don’t know if Tuomas wrote this song to Tarja and I don’t like to ship anyone here but let’s be honest: Tarja is an extremely beautiful woman. I bet my ass Tuomas had a crush on her at least at some point. And I think this is the moment the truth hit him: they’re going to kick her out of the band and at the same time their friendship will be over. She will be offended, she will be sad, she will blame him and she will hate him. And I think he’s questioning if he’s doing the right thing and then realize there’s nothing he can do about it anymore. It’s too late to turn back. He had already lost her long ago. This is just where he lost the last small piece of hope. His siren will never sing to him again.
