🧿The Evil Eye 🧿and Color Correspondences
The evil eye is not actually the "evil eye". It is an amulet to ward off the evil eye. The evil eye, known as “mati” (μάτι) in Greek culture, is a curse thought to be given by a malicious glare that can cause bad luck or loss. You may have heard someone giving you the "evil eye" from across the room - and many people around the world believe this to be more then just a saying.
People can knowingly wish negative thoughts on you, but the power of the eye is that some people unknowingly and innocently cast the curse on others. That's why it's important to wear an evil eye somewhere on your body to ward off this curse and protect yourself throughout the day.
Nazar word deriving from Arabic, meaning sight, surveillance, attention, and other related concepts) is an eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye. The term is also used in Azeri, Bengali, Hindi, Kurdish, Pashto, Persian, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu and other languages. In Turkey, it is known by the name nazar boncuğu. In Greece is known as mati (the evil eye). In Persian and Afghan folklore, it is called a cheshm nazar or nazar qurbāni. In India and Pakistan, the Hindi-Urdu slogan Chashm-e-Baddoor is used to ward off the evil eye. In the Indian subcontinent, the phrase "Nazar lag gai" is used to indicate that one has been affected by the evil eye.
Have you ever seen evil eyes in different colors? Well they all have their own meanings too!

My tarot decks for
💀Hekate + Persephone💀
I was in the sharing mood and was going to do some Hekate rituals soon so I wanted to share the decks I have dedicated to Hekate and Persephone. They are my most cherished decks and were my most expensive. Had to save up to even get them. But I’m glad I did!
First, my deck for Hekate is the True Black Tarot by Arthur Wang. Folks, when I say these are soft as a rose petal, I’m not exaggerating. They feel luxurious in my hands!
I picked a few of my favorite cards to show off. And the major arcana are decorated with spot gloss designs. I tried to capture some of it with the Moon card.
The edges are hand painted by the artist before they’re shipped out. The lovely texture makes shuffling a little more difficult and they are a thicker card stock so they don’t bend well. But it’s all worth it for me. I’m never unclear by messages from this deck.
My other deck for Persephone is The Wandering Spirit Tarot by Shin Haenuli. I got this along with the art book and reading cloth.
The moment I saw this deck and read the artist’s story behind its creation I immediately felt an intense connection to Persephone and I knew I had to work toward saving up for it.
Please, don’t feel like you have to drop a ton of money for expensive items for your deity work or craft. I did this because I eventually had the opportunity to save for them. It took a few years from when I discovered the decks to when I finally obtained them.
Consumerism is unfortunately rampant in the witchy community, and I realize I’m probably contributing to it with this post. But please know that the only thing that you need for your craft is you. The rest is just confetti. If you’re honest in your connection to your deities or you put the intentions needed behind the simplest of spells then that’s all you need at the end of the day.

Using Solar Patterns to Enhance Your Spellwork
Day
"The day begins with the dawn, moves to midday, through sunset, and then to midnight. Each of these four phases is associated with basic energies to add extra power to your spell:
Dawn: origins, new beginnings, illumination, children
Midday: energy, growth, creation, increase
Sunset: decrease, banishment, resolution, maturation
Midnight: endings, gestation, stability
From these four points, you can extrapolate other times during the day, such as midmorning or midafternoon."
Seasons
"The seasons have inspired more poetry and art than possibly any other natural event. Spellcasting by the seasons means you’ll likely be planning your spell far ahead of when you’ll be casting it. Chances are good that if you schedule a spell ac- cording to a season, you’re taking the time to think about it. If so, it will likely be a slowly evolving spell with far-reaching effects. Like the daily solar phase, the seasonal solar phase is associated with these basic energies that you can use to refine your spells:
Spring: origins, new beginnings, birth
Summer: passion, activity, creation/destruction
Autumn: transformation, farewells, nostalgia
Winter: introspection, planning"

The Grimoire as a Tool
Here are some great ways to give your grimoire more utility in your practice beyond just being a spell book:
Gazing page for trance and meditation work
Charging sigils for crystals and tools
Altar page (especially great for those who can't have a physical altar)
Altar pages for deities, spirits, guides, etc.
Intent pages decorated with colors, objects, and symbols associated with your chosen intent
Gateway pages for journeying and lucid dreaming
Vision and dream board pages to record dreams and recall them during ritual
Binding page for all the things that need somewhere to go besides your mind (I recommend using another piece of paper or a scrap of fabric to cover this page)
Pendulum board page
Crystal grid layout page
Throwing bones page (can have a grid, cardinal directions, elemental symbols, or other such markings to aid in interpreting throws)
Divination pages (create using scribbling, automatic writing, or ink splotches to create random markings that can later be interpreted)
Mirror gazing page (can be made with a reflective sticker or by pasting in a suitably reflective surface into your book, may be overlayed with thin black fabric or lace to somewhat obscure the reflection)
Invocation page with symbols and sigils for invoking certain entities

MY ROOM CLEANSING SPRAY RECIPE!
Ingredients
Rain water or moon water
One drop of rosemary essential oil
Two drops of lemon essential oil
One drop of peppermint essential oil
One drop of lavender essential oil
An empty cleansed mistime spray bottle
NOTE: make sure you get a decent sized spray bottle, not a super tiny one because you need enough space for a good amount of water for the oils to evenly disperse in! You don’t want too little water and too much essential oil! If you need to, cut down on the oil drops you’re putting into it if it’s a slightly smaller bottle than the one shown in my picture.

A neurodivergent witch's guide to starting a grimoire 🌿✨️
I remember when I was first starting out with building a grimoire and getting frustrated with how few resources there are on what a grimoire is supposed to be. I wanted clear directions and examples of what to include, but I mostly found YouTubers giving vague descriptions and repeating over and over again that it's extremely personal and private so they wouldn't say anything specific. As a neurodivergent person, it was very frustrating to try to figure out what to do from that. It took me a while to figure out what my own specifics were, so for any beginner witches out there, here are some specific ideas for starting off! Once you get more used to it, it'll get easier and easier to figure out what you do and don't want to include.
I'd recommend researching sigils and creating one to protect your grimoire; I placed mine on the second page after I dedicated the notebook for it, but you can put it wherever you feel like
Dates of moon cycles/information on how they affect your practice
Wheel of the year/sabbats if you celebrate them
Record rituals for sabbats if you choose to do anything for them, that way you have a reference for next year
Information on the elements- earth, air, fire, water, and/or spirit depending on your practice
Information on herbs or crystals you have- I like to print out pictures to include with the correspondences and leave space to write down specific things I use them for
Also, a quick reference list of ways you can care for individual crystals will be very helpful if you use them! Pay extra attention to which ones are sensitive to sun or water, it'll save you crystals later on
Basics of tarot, runes, or other divination methods
Color correspondences!
Information on zodiac signs; I printed out my star chart and put it in
When you do spellwork, write down everything you did and date it. Later you can come back and update whether it worked, what the effects were, and tweak it if necessary- basically treat it like a magic recipe book
A grimoire is not the same as a journal- if you want to write down personal reflections on meditation or your emotional experiences, I would suggest using a separate notebook for those things.
While I understand why people are so hesitant to show their grimoires, I have no qualms with showing a few pages for example purposes. However, I would suggest that you don't share anything that is personalized to your craft to others unless you can 100% guarantee that they won't cause you harm with it.
The only reason I'm ok with putting pictures on here is because they're full of basic information that anyone with Google could find and nothing that's specific to me.
With that being said, here are a few examples from my own grimoire as a reference!
