Fasting Tips
Fasting is hard. I just got done fasting for 42 hours (yay!) and it was sooo difficult. But because i now have control iām going to fast again soon.
So iād like to share my best tips on how to take control, stay in control, and fast.
NEVER EXERCISE WHEN FASTING!!
1. The first 12 hours are always the hardest. Distract yourself for the first 13 hours. yes 13 because by then the hunger pains will have subsided greatly. Read a book, watch movies. STAY AWAY FROM FOOD.
2. Drink diet soda when youāre stomach starts grumbling loudly and you feel super hungry. The carbonation will trick your mind and plus, the flavor will help you stay sane.
3. Chew sugar free MINT gum. The flavor will actually make your stomach feel at ease. It tricks your mind that youāre full. And i mean⦠who can actually eat something after that strong mint taste?
4. Brush your teeth every 6 hours. One, itās keep your teeth hygienic and strong. And Ā same with the gum, the mint taste will make it harder to eat. And if people ask if you want food, you can tell them you just brushed your teeth so you canāt.
5. If you must eat dinner with your family; say you have a stomach ache, sore throat, or even that your heads hurts too bad and you should take a nap. Ā
6. If step 5 doesnāt work; hide the food. In your sleeves, down your shirt, in your pockets. feed it to the family pet. You can even do this trick-
(Get a cup and fill it with a little bit of water. Put the food in your mouth and chew DONāT SWALLOW and every few bites act like youāre about to take a drink drink, but actually spit the food into the cup.)
7. If you fast for more than 36 hours and you feel faint; take a nap, drink diet soda, chew gum, or you can even chew food and spit it out.
8. Look at thinspo constantly. This way you wonāt lose motivation.
9. Do your makeup and/or have a spa day.You deserve the self care. And this will make you want to look beautiful, thin, small, perfect. Search up clothes youāll wear when you reach your goal weight.
10. Stand in front of the mirror naked. Remind yourself why youāre doing this.
STAY STRONG!!
If you can have enough control to say no, then you WILL reach your ultimate goal weight. Just keep going.
Itās going to be hard. But it will definitely be worth it.

listen i will do crazy stupid things to lose weight. i wonāt eat for days and drink lemon infusion water for weeks and refuse desserts no matter how much i like them. ill put epsom salt in my baths and work out for hours and try to sweat the weight away. but the one thingā the one thingā that i will NEVER do to lose weight is take a cold shower
Day 2 fasting after yet another binge
Itās real tiring being in the recovery cycle then being switched on to starvation mode. Itās been going on for 3 months now and itās SO WEIRD. Like the more I eat, the harder itās getting to starve. Like Iām already tired and shaking??? And itās only been like 45 hours since my last meal. I did better before I tried recovery. So I guess it actually kinda helps the body to eat more, but Iām not gonna lie I feel like my mental is even worse? I almost hate myself more now than when I got to this treatment home. But yeah. Even though Iām in a āIM DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO BE SKINNYā mood, I still miss my life. I miss school and I miss dancingāØ

thereās something so satisfying and comforting about losing weight and focusing on getting skinny. the measuring and the weighing and the pride you get off not eating all day and going to bed hungry
need to remember this
over the past month and a half i have been constantly binging. iāve been in a state of not caring about anything, lacking motivation to get up or to try to fight binge urges. so iāve been eating junk and sugary shit to ātry and make myself feel betterā. it hasnāt fucking worked.
iām too scared to weigh myself so idk how much iāve gained but itās a lot. i know iām above my starting weight.
but hereās what iāve noticed:
eating like shit has made been feel like shit inside and out. my skin is dry and iāve been getting so many zits and my hair gets so greasy. i feel sick from all the sugar and fake food iāve been eating. disgusting.
i was starting to get a thigh gap. there is no sign of it now.
my ankles were one of my biggest insecurities and they were looking thinner before, but now theyāre fat. again.
iām so much more aware of my stomach. even before i started restricting over a year ago i never really had insecurities about my stomach. now it is constantly bloated.
my ribs, my collarbones, my hipbones - all hidden in new layers of fat. fat fat fat!!
i used to be kind of proud of my thinning wrists. the bones were so defined. now thereās just fat.
my jawline is like nonexistent. i get. noticeable double chin now. yuck.
stretch marks have gotten worse.
my arms are fatter.
my cheeks are chubbier
everything sags :(
i just generally look and feel awful
i hope next time i think of binging iāll remember how awful i feel right now because i donāt remember ever being this disgusted with myself.
edit: just a disclaimer, iāve gained like 4.5kgs, my bmi is 21.5 so iām still in the middle of the healthy range itās just my ed has exaggerated everything so yeah

To Fellow Anas Who Smoke Weed
After a high, the munchies can really set you back from your goal weight so hereās my tip!!!
Wait until youāre already really tired, and smoke a good hour or two before you are going to go to sleep. Then, enjoy the high in your room away from food and fall asleep before the munchies set in!
No joke tho, I lost 3kg (6lb) in 3 days when I followed this method two nights in a row so I am going to pass the good luck with this method to anyone who happens across it āØāØāØāØ
Also to anas who donāt smoke weed, you can still have the luck because everybody deserves to have a little extra luck ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤

i went shopping today and hoo boy was it a wake up call.
i wanted to get some jeans and jesus christ the emphasis on my thighs was unbearable oh my god they need so much work ughhgggghgh. and i was so fat from bingeing :(
iām making a promise to myself.
iām going to reach my goal weight by my birthday.
this morning i weighed 68kgs. iāve been bingeing for the last week. iām done. im done with bingeing. iām done with being fat.
i can do this.
it is my birthday in exactly one month, on the 30th of june. i have 31 days to lose 8kgs. (i was probably bloated from bingeing so probably more like 7kgs but letās ignore that) thatās 68-60.
RULES
only eat when you have to - if people expect you to, if someone insists, etc. maintain secrecy. otherwise, donāt get up to get your own food whenever.
if you arenāt willing to eat veggies or fruit, you arenāt really hungry.
drink 3L of water a day.
burn any calories over 1000.
if you exercise, donāt add those extra calories. you get 1000 and thatās that.
only fruit or veg unless itās lunch or dinner.
key daily goals:
drink 4 bottles of water at school, and another litre at home. also a glass of water before bed and when you wake up.
no food after 7. no food before 11. 16:8
eat no more than 1000 cals (to try to stop binges). ~ BUT if you feel weak after your morning run you may have porridge with berries (<150cals). only when necessary.
do 100 sit-ups, 100 leg raises, 100 squats, and 15 push-ups every night.
eat so many veggies. veggies > fruit. but if you want to eat something other than veg, eat fruit.
drink a mug of green tea
DONT WEIGH YOURSELF EVERY DAY. YOU ALWAYS BINGE WHEN YOU LOSE WEIGHT.
key weekly goals:
lose around 2kg a week
go for a run 5x a week
do a 20+ hr fast every week - tuesdays are ideal.
weigh on tuesday and saturday only.
when you feel like bingeing:
ask yourself:
āļøis this worth it? will you remember a fleeting moment of pleasure in a week, a month, a year? or will you be living your dream, at your goal weight, in that amount on time?
āļøhow does this help you? in the long run? honestly? is it really helping you? or is it just temporary?
āļøyeah, you could eat. or, you could stay strong and ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS in the short amount of time it could take.
āļøwhen you give in, youāre just DELAYING. youāre going to keep trying, why make it harder for yourself than it already is? youāre just putting yourself further back than you could be.
still feel like bingeing? in this order:
chug half a litre of water.
chug another half litre of water.
walk toby š¶ for at least 30 mins.
study.
chew gum.
if you canāt concentrate on studyingā¦
if you need to study, eat 2 rice cakes with vegemite.
if you donāt need to study, tidy your room.
if tidying isnāt enough to distract you, watch something on netflix
if netflix is making you want to snack, call a friend and chat with them. not on snapchat. call. them.
if none of this works, eat a piece of fruit or some veggies - under 50 cals.
REMEMBER:
āļø your next meal is so, so soon. remember you shouldnāt eat unless you have to.
āļøit takes 21 DAYS to make a habit. three weeks to no longer crave junk, three weeks to easily exercise, three weeks to have complete self control. you can do this.
