Alien x The Bad Batch AU?

AU Lore:

One day the Batch is contacted by an unnamed figure up the chain of command of their GAR. They don’t know who but they have very high clearance and are clearly important, probably even connected to the Senate in someway. They have temporarily assigning Tech to a research mission with other scientists and knowledgeable GAR figures. This is beyond odd because the order is specifically asking for Tech only (ignoring also that the person who is sending this mission is unnamed basically). The Tech and the other Batchers aren’t pleased but they don’t really have a choice, so Tech joins a small crew of Natborn scientists and a few other clones for security. The researchers mission ends up being a cover up to go try to capture/study the Xenomorph, as you could probably guess lol. Aline (1) movie plot basically ensues, except Tech is basically Ripley. The entire crew is killed by the Xeno and Tech ends up being the only survivor. Upon return the whole mission is basically covered up. Whoever sent the mission doesn’t want it getting out that it’s wasn’t a research mission, but an alien retrieval mission gone wrong. Tech is basically told by the higher ups, not to talk about it to ANYONe or he’ll be decommissioned. So eventually when Tech returns to the Batch, he doesn’t tell them about anything and just stays vague (he’s absolutely shit at lying/hiding stuff so everyone knows something went wrong on the mission, but they also know Tech isn’t one to keep secrets so whatever happened is serious). This all takes place before Echo joins their team, but soon after he joins them, they get another mission. One from the same mysterious High GAR member. Tech had always wondered why they didn’t just decommission him if they didn’t want him possibly talking about the mission, but he finally finds out why. It’s because they want to send him back again, to try and retrieve the Xenomorph. Only this time with the rest of his squad.
